We have air con in the lounge only and it doesn't seem to spread through the house. Fans in the bedroom. They're so noisy AND it's not cool so a good nights sleep is a challenge.

As for the air con... someone adjusted it to 29 degrees today. Only me and two step-sons here and it wasn't me.

29 Lol. Bummer!

Yeah mine doesn't really spread through the house. I'm gonna try getting a fan to blow to the cold air down the passage.

It would have been more accurate to say they're aestivating, hibernating only applies in cold weather

I know what 41C feels like in SA...and that's dry heat.
I can't imagine how awful it must be in QLD with the humidity on top.

Yeah, it's the humidity which makes it uncomfortable. It will be here for few days apparently.
