Waratah earthquake recorded at 3.7 magnitude By JONATHAN MALLINSON Jan. 14, 2015, 11 a.m.
A 3.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded at Waratah this morning.

Geoscience Australia has said a preliminary report had shown the quake was felt up to 70 kilmetres away.

They have had reports it was felt in Smithton, Wynyard and some parts of Burnie.

The quake happened at 10.30am.
