Default Christmas Spirit

I notice that quite a few of us seem to be getting into the Christmas spirit (and not just the alcoholic kind ) and have festive avatars

Don't forget to nominate any you like for the Christmas Avatar Comp - British Expats - Announcements in Forum : The Barbie - there's a BE mug for the winners

And there's still plenty of time to get nominated, so lets see how original we can get with our avatars

As a Luddite, my avatar will not change. You can imagine me all sparkly and with fairy wings or a Santa suit if you wish!!

Premium members get bigger avatars, but still not very big.

There is a limit on avatar sizes which is square - if you can crop the image before using to make it squarer it may appear larger as it wont be scaled as much (I think anyway but could be wrong)

Thanks, I thought that may have been the case.

Currently pulling together a Christmas Card to be printed in the UK, so I thought I'd use those bits for an avatar. Appears like things are limited to 65 pixels for us normal mortals, and no GIF animations - which limits the scope somewhat....

I tried increasing the size of your little soldier a bit Kim but the quality isn't good enough so it comes out blocky.

How about using this one.....

Thanks Bix - was a shot of my little one after opening night of Queensland Ballet's Nutcracker last night - had to cut it down a bit because it had some of her cast mates in the shot and didn't think I should put them up on here without parental consent hehe. I'll try and find something flashy in the next few days.
