It's pretty calm in these here parts but I've tidied the yards just in case, we had a few big branches down in the last storm and with all these drought-weakened trees it doesn't pay to be complacent.

Do love a bit of weather though, can't beat nature

I love a good storm too. I'd just prefer to enjoy it without my outdoor furniture flying into the house!

We thought about waiting until the wind got worse before moving anything around but we figured we didn't really want to be out there in a storm if we left it too late. It took about 3 minutes to move the furniture so it wasn't a big deal. Got my husband to clean up the yard too!

Do you put the nails through their hands or feet And can you keep them nailed down for a few days just in case another storm is coming?

Sorry, spent too long running after the kids today

Wise move, we have got friendly with our horsey neiiiiighbours which means we can horse-sit AND I don't have to mow as often, double bonus! Big buggers too ... the nags, not the neighbours ... very impressive muscles ... the nags not the ...

Anyway, it's still a bit breezy here but nicer for it, hell, a bit of Wild Turkey and I can sleep through anything

You've not seen a wheelie bin fly down the road and land on a car then One of ours flew off a year or so ago when we had a big storm.
