It's pretty calm in these here parts but I've tidied the yards just in case, we had a few big branches down in the last storm and with all these drought-weakened trees it doesn't pay to be complacent.
Do love a bit of weather though, can't beat nature

We thought about waiting until the wind got worse before moving anything around but we figured we didn't really want to be out there in a storm if we left it too late. It took about 3 minutes to move the furniture so it wasn't a big deal. Got my husband to clean up the yard too!

I love a good storm too. I'd just prefer to enjoy it without my outdoor furniture flying into the house!

Until i looked out the window, at the pool.... the SHADE SAIL! !!! argghhh
too late, it was ripped from its anchors, and disappeared over 3 paddocks and beyond the horizon.. with the HAIL !!
Man was i so pissed !!

Do you put the nails through their hands or feet And can you keep them nailed down for a few days just in case another storm is coming?

Wise move, we have got friendly with our horsey neiiiiighbours which means we can horse-sit AND I don't have to mow as often, double bonus! Big buggers too ... the nags, not the neighbours ... very impressive muscles ... the nags not the ...

Ah so not so daft then trouble is our bloody neighbours bins are overflowing, and dumped at the end of their front garden, guess who probably will get all the crap from it
