Default Baby earthquake at Mt Mee

A Magnitude 3.0 earthquake recorded west of Mt Mee on Monday morning could have been felt up to 23km away at Wivenhoe Dam.
Geoscience Australia reported the earthquake occurred west of Mt Mee (latitude -27.111, longtitude 152.611) at 6.32am and said people might have felt shaking up to 23km away.
The location of the quake was less than 10km from Somerset Dam and 20km away from the northern side of Lake Wivenhoe.
Geoscience Australia seismologist Steve Taham, from Canberra, said about a dozen residents from as far away as Ipswich had reported a tremor, but no damage.

well it was a vain hope...... Pity it wasn't a bit later, there would;ve been people panicking all over the place, could've justified my wages for the day then instead of telling everyone "ÿeah, it was 6.32am, no, no-one noticed it!"

My office building never swings unless above magnitude 6 or 5.5, but some times for 4.5-5 if the epicenter is close enough. But I never knew there is any seismic activity in AU, first time I heard, so no where to run as it is every where? OMG!

Plenty of quakes here, most of which go un-noticed
