Where should I live in KL?
 

I'm currently apartment hunting in KL as part of my relocation to KL for 2 years on business. I'm looking at Damansara Heights and Mont Kiara and will be working in Tropicana. I'm particularly looking at Desa Damansara and Kiaraville.

As a single female security is a priority, but I'm also looking for a place where I can meet lots of folks and have a good social life.

Does anyone have any advice on the best place to live? Can anyone tell me the best way to start meeting people and doing something other than working!!:)

I moved to KL in December and rent right near the centre, not far the Istana hotel. Lots of available apartments here too and the social life on Changkat Bukit Bintang suits just fine. Plenty of small bars and resturaunts with a good mix of people. My company has an office out at Mont Kiara but the only way to get out of there is by car. There's zero other transport out there.
