Perhentian's
Hi guys...
my girlfriend and myself are planning a trip to malaysia next march.
We wanna spend 7 nights at the perhentians...
We recieved a offer from Perhentian Island Resort for a Semi Suite (280 RM/night).
They told us their resort was renovated in 2001 completly.
Did anyone stay in this hotel after the renovation? Can anybody recommend this room type or the hotel in total?
Are there any special tips for the Perhentians, or what shouldn't we miss during our stay.
Thanks very much in advance
Toby

Congrats. It's a beautiful place.

The Perhentian Island Resort is very overpriced, you can get almost
identical chalets at the other resorts on the island for much less.
Coral View Island Resort, in particular, seemed quite classy and
is priced at less than 100 RM/night. (There are also much cheaper
options, but I presume you want little luxuries like air-con,
attached bathroom and 24h electricity...)

Diving and suntanning on the beach are about the only things you can
do on the Perhentians, but they're both fun. =)
