Default Moving to UK - Tax on savings transfer

Hello all

I will transfer all of my savings back to the UK when i move there. Is there Tax that needs to be paid on these transferred funds?

I have been living and working outside of the EU for over 6 years. would direct international bank transfers be all right, or would i need to declare this for tax purposes?

Thanks Guys
