Lived in both Australia and Spain. Both have their challenges, but at least Spain isnt too far away to move to in view of cost and if you decide to go back its won´t cost you an arm and leg. The other positive is that you aren´t too far from Grandparents and friends for visits.
There are quite a few telecoms down here, and if you´re been a call centre manager I´m sure some of the Real Estate agents would welcome you.
As on a previous post the best thing may be to pop down for a few weeks and see what the opportunities are for you and if there arent you can take the other option of Australia - if you can get in. Have you ever been there?
Before you pack up the whole family you have got to do your homework throughly which a number of people dont do, they arrive in a place and expect everything to go smoothly and often it doesnt, having a sense of adventure and a good sense of humour really helps.
Good luck anyway which ever you choose.
