A cheap night in Warsaw
I have once stayed in the
- Instytut Fizyki (Institute of Physics)
when ALL hotels in Warsaw were fully booked.
No TV, no phone, but the room was OK.
Breakfast was fine....no English spoken, but I managed in my limited Polish and it always helps that my wife was born in Bytom/Slask (or Beuthen/Silesia as it was in 1942!!)
I recall it cost about $10.
Don't forget to use the trams and buses and buy the cheap bus tickets on arrival at the airport - downstairs at the RUCh shop....
