Hi there.

There doesn't seem to be a post by you here , just a link. It may not seem the ticket to you but link dumps like this without an accompanying explanation or opinion as to why it has been posted are discouraged.

I will leave this for now and hopefully you will post up your opinion, reasoning, point of view.

Thanks

Maybe Jenny234 should have posted in the MBTTUK forum, as this link doesn't concern members living in or thinking of emigrating to Continental Europe?

It doesn't really concern moving back though, does it?

As a UK citizen resident in the EU, the treatment of EU migrants by the UK is of interest to me, partly because of the risk of reciprocal arrangements.

Fair enough, it'll be of general interest to UK expats in Continental Europe worried about how Brexit will affect reciprocal arrangements..
But the OP has been posting in the MBTTUK concerning her spouse visa, which is why I thought she'd posted the newspaper report here by mistake....

If it's about reciprocity the rest of the 27 should charge the same amount for possible naturalization or any kind of permanent residency.

As an EU citizen, the application for British citizenship stands at a hefte 1300 pounds, plus various other fees, photos, etc... ILR for Canadians in the UK stands at 2300 pounds, that is to be done before a citizenship application takes place.

Fact: It's a money making machine for the UK.
