Transferring Swiss Francs to UK Bank

Hello, I am considering moving to Switzerland to take up a job. The only issue stopping me from proceeding is the uncertainty I would have issues sending money home to pay for a mortgage here in the UK.
Does anyone have experience doing this. I assume my bank would apply some fee for the transfer but for those living and working in Switzerland, has this been a problem in any other capacity?

Minimal - if indeed any - charges, well known high street banks on each side.
