Thank you all for your comments.
I've been investigating further. Conside Denmark and Belgium. As a country Belgium ranks higher than Denmark (considerably). But with when looking at cities, Copenhagen ranks higher than brussels.
I've decided I'll move to either Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and The Netherlands. Low cost of living and good housing prospects are the most important to me.
How do you figure? How can we understand this gap between city and country raking? What would you pick of these? Why?

You should look into taxes, some countries taxes are much higher than even the UK.. I suspect Denmark might be one of them.
