simple'ish way to view iplayer/itv in slovenia

As discussed in the Aussie forum http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?t=785037

It is basically an addon for google chrome which tunnels your internet traffic in the browser session via a UK ip, thus giving you access to iplayer/itv but at your full internet speed.

To be 100% secure I would reckon installing a portable version of Chrome that you use only for tv watching as mentioned in my post on the other thread.

***blah blah viewing tv abroad you should blah hold a valid uk tv license etc

An alternative is to link up a second dd-wrt loaded router with VPN, and then you can do anything as if you are in the UK.

good point, it's quite handy that the routers you get given her by the isp for free are compatible with dd-wrt

you tried any of the Smart DNS products yet Mitzyboy? Could be the future, it's like a VPN but only the relevant headers are forwarded via DNS, so in theory you should get your full speed
