Just found your post and maybe you have sorted things out but just in case you haven't I will be travelling from UK to Italy with an empty Van (LWB Hi top Transit, lots of space) in early 2010.

Hello John,

We have a container with a company in Brentford west london with 250 cub ft/ 7/8 square metres of domestic items for removal. Limited furniture with most of the stuff in tea chest size boxes or bags. We are moving to northern sardinia but could also arrange a transfer to our own van in either genoa or rome (both good for ferries to porto torres or olbia in sardinia). Let me know if this might work with your plans. I have two weeks off work from the 8th feb until the 20th so this is our window for getting the stuff across. If this looks possible we can start looking at the financial side of things, if not I wish you a safe drive.
