I am wondering if there has been any update or news regarding UK citizens living in EEA and the debate over EHIC cards.
I am a UK citizen, living in Scandinavia, previously held a Scandinavian EHIC, which has now expired. Am I eligible for a new EHIC from either UK or my country of residence ? Also my husband who started receiving his UK state pension in 2021 (after 31 December 2020 !) and was issued an S-1, is he eligible for an EHIC from either country or indeed if I am eligible as a result of my eligibility ?
