My winter visit!
Hey
I'm going to Europe in december/january and was really wanting to go on a tour of europe. Someone told me that in the winter everything is covered in snow which makes all the cities look the same and that its not worth visiting. I really wanted to go to Bruges, does anyone have any advice?
thanks!!

We don't get all that much snow and Bruge in December just before Christmas (and any other time) is superb. The old part of town has to be seen.

Europe in winter
It's not true that there's a lot of snow, really. It depends where you go. Yes, Bruges is lovely, that's why some call it 'Venice of the North.'
Places I recommend for a Europe visit;
London, Paris, Nice, Barcelona, Rome, Brussels, Bruges, Antwerp Amsterdam.
There's loads of budget airlines like Easyjet.com so you could base yourself in one place and plan excursions from there.

Yes, I fully agree with Jxab12, Prague should be added to your list of cities which you will visit.
