Hi,

All those countries are part of the European Union, so as a US citizen you don't need any visa. You can stay up to 3 months in each of those countries.
From my experience, my girlfriend is a US citizen, they will hardly look at your passport at the french custom.

Olivier.

The important point is not that these are EU member states, but that they are all party to the Schengen Agreement. Provided your vacation is not more than 90 days, as a US passport holder you won't need a visa. But if you want to visit a non-Schengen country (e.g. the UK) you will need to check the position.

That doesn't make much difference. Shengen or not Shengen, as a US citizen, you don't need a visa to enter a EU country (UK included).

Hello, all you need to keep on you is your Passport. I travel through the EU by rail. So, just keep your passport.
