Are there any VPN providers in Europe that charge under 70 euros/year?

My current VPN terminates on the other side of the world. I would prefer not to tunnel so far.

I'm usung a VPN in Spain. I think the company that provides it, there server is in the UK. I have no problems with it anyway.
The cost is more than 70 Euros a year, not aware of anyone that provides a reliable VPN for that much.
PM me if you want the details. Don't think I'm allowed to post a link to the company on here.

The one I'm using is:

http://pc-streaming.com/store/

Not cheap but very reliable and excellent customer service.
Great for watching British telly

Why should they try and block it? it's a VPN service, nothing illegal about that. Hundreds of companies sell them.
Now if they were streaming the media from there servers, that would be a different story but there not.

That's the whole point, they don't re-broadcast TV shows, that's illegal. When connected to a UK VPN or SSH, it makes your IP address appear to be in the UK. What you then decide to do on the internet is your business. If you decide to click on the BBC website and view their iplayer or hit the ITV website and view their `liveĀ“media player, then that's your business.
Both BBC and ITV along with CH4 & CH5 On-Demand services use Geo-IP technology to detect where you are located. You have to appear to be located in the UK to view their media and that's what a VPN account does, makes your IP address appear to be a UK IP address.

TakeItEasy is absolutely correct.

Many people/companies use VPN technology, it is a standard across the internet. In fact, there is a growing usage of VPN's/IP placeshifting for people in repressed countries to watch things like YouTube and surf Facebook etc.

Also, many employees secretly use VPN's to circumvent their company network in order to surf eBay all day when they should be working, LOL.

Hi, actually I wrote a program to do it without using a VPN. I posted in another thread to see if anyone would be kind enough to help me test it, but I haven't had any takers yet..

So, if anyone is willing to test it for me please PM me.

I'm using it perfectly to watch iPlayer and live BBC etc.
