long term renting
Can anyone tell me of a company or individual that deals in long term renting as opposed to holiday lets etc. We are intending to move to france later in the year, but we wish to rent before buying so it give us longer 'searching' time. We have children, so it is virtually impossible to keep coming over every time we see a property that 'takes our fancy' and doesnt give us long enough to have a complete look around the areas. We have searched the internet and monthly publications but they all seem geared up for holidays. We are open to areas, so if anyone knows of an agent in their area it would be fantastic to hear.

furnished apartments for a few month
Hello,
Maybe you can rent a furnished appartment to start with. That's easier when coming from abroad (paperworks lighter, less warranty asked for).
We are a group of friends offering furnished appartment for rent on a monthly basis all over the year. Mostly one-bedrooms not suited for a family but you can check out our site:
http://parishomes.free.fr
If you need a larger place, I'd look in http://www.fusac.org/en/
Good luck in anycase

I can certainly assist you in the area around Toulouse. Most owners will want you to sign a three year lease, but it is possible for the tenant to leave before the lease is up, with written notice. I have access to rentals in every price range. Please let me know if you think I can assist. You will be looking at a monthly rental of anything between 700 and 2000 euros in this area depending on location and condition of the house or flat.
