Living and working in Switzerland
Hi everyone
My husband may have the chance to work out in Stans, Switzerland. I am in the early stages of pregnancy and do not know how I would cope moving away from family and giving birth abroad. Is their an expat community in Stans/Lucerne?
Any info on living in Switzerland would be appreciated

Hi Abi,
There is quite a large expat community in Luzern and a smaller one in Stans and surrounding area. Life here is great and the living is easy. Medical care is very good and having a baby here is supposedly a very good experience. I have had several friends do it here--one even received aromatherapy massages during labor!
If you have any specific questions, feel free to post and I will try to answer them!

Hi,
I'm looking for any information that anyone has on living and working in Switzerland as a brit. My husband has been offered a job there (Lausanne) and I'm having problems finding out whether I could work, and if so, how easy it would be to find a job.
