Default Living in Athens Greece - advice please!

We are considering moving to athens. My husband is Greek and I am English. We have two children who are already being brought up bilingually. I would be really interested to hear from anyone in a similar position who lives in the Athens area. I have visited Greece many times over the years, but don't really know what it would be like to live there on a long-term basis. Where are the best places to live for brits/english speakers. Should we send the kids to Greek school or shellout for an international school? What is there socially for English speakers? All advice gratefully received! We have looked at Rafina, Anavissos, Glyfada, Aghios Stefanos as possible places to live.
