i was just wondering, as it seems with many forums, theres not many youngsters on here ?

under drinking age (0>18) 15 years diff
18>25 7 years diff
25>40 15 years diff
40+ 50+ years diff

I'm not sure about 40+ being an age group. Makes me feel like a wrinkley.

Age is just a number - you're the age you feel! I was talking to my mum the other day, she is 83 and she said she still thinks she's about 37 really!!! Even though she knows she isn't (she's not one of these mutton dressed as lamb old dears - she does look 83) but in her head she's not. She lives at a retirement complex and every week her and some of her similarly aged friends get together for a drink and a meal in eachother's flats. When they leave for their own flats (just down the corridor) they are usually a bit tiddly and they do things like making all the pictures in the hallway wonky or rearranging someone's artificial flower display outside her front door cos they know it annoys her and she never knows who's done it. :confused: You might think all those little all ladies are dry and dusty but some of them still have a sense of humour. :D

She's never going to be some elderly old widow, no matter what her real age.

and me, well I'm **** but in my head I'm not, I still want to go and play laserquest and jump on the flumes in Aquasherry waterpark etc. It's just when I look in the mirror that I see all those wrinkles.... :eek:

so, so far theres only 4 people looking at these boards that are under 25 ?? that sucks.. i did wonder, you know, theres never alot of "teenagers / early 20´s" around compared to... older folk :p

I'm in the under 40 group. Could be that the lack of 20's is that they're all out having such a good time that they can't be arsed to come on sites like this! :beer:

doesn't matter what the age says on your birth certificate someone people look 10 years younger than they are some look older than they are, some are old young in personality some are young old in their personality. So define age.

Must admit I have been on here more than I normally would mainly because I havent been able to do any sport, fly or anything due to recovering from my op. But now got clearance to take off flying again and retrain to get my body fit again probably won't be on so much, it gets addictive though doesn't it?.......Hello my name is Mercedes and I am a internet addict :D :D I shall now take my mutt for a long walk to wean myself off it lol.

Thats probably coz all you youngsters are busy working(???) for a living while us oldies have made our living and are now enjoying the "Fruits Of Our Labours". e.g. taking up forum time
