rday,
Just north of the Hague, near Wassenaar, is Duinrel. This is a water amusement park
with camping. My daughter, then 11, loved the rides and we both had a kick on the
water slides and the pool.
Other camp areas in coastal resort villages are identified with a tent symbol on the
Michelin map for Holland. John

There's loads of campsites, it's possible that you'll have to try a few before you
find one with room, after all, july and august are pretty busy.
The zoo in rottedam, Blijdorp, is reputed to be very nice. My personal favourite
however, is the "Noorder Dierenpark" in emmen. Almost no old fashioned enclosures
there and even a special greenhouse with loads of butterflys. It's al the way to the
east near the german border though. Somewhat closer to the coast, in Arnhem there's
Burger's zoo which has an indoor jungle, desert and a nice aquarium.
Also interesting perhaps in the dolfinarium in harderwijk, close to there is the
"hoge veluwe" national park.
Someone already mentioned efteling and duinrel so I won't.
One thing to take in account, everything will be busy. Queing for an hour for a ride
in a theme park is something that could very well happen.
as to finding campsites, stop at a big gas station, get a decent road map, camp sites
are indicated, they might even have camp guides. They're also signposted sometimes
along major roads.
