Default Holidays in Croatia?

Statistics show Croatia, especially the Adriatic coast and the islands, is predominantly favored and visited by Germans and Austrians for some reason, and less by others in Europe. Have you been to Croatia and what was your main impression?

you goes and takes your choices, better for you to find it has plenty to offer (or not) than to listen to people from a website.

sorry if it seems negative but the positivity is you may like it and want to go back and at the end of the day it is you that matters in this

better to have been and loved/hated than to never have been at all

kind regards
Dom

Fabulously beautiful country and wonderful people - not that Im biased at all since my SIL and her family are from croatia.

We spent a week there last may and loved it and plan to return many more times in the future.

The germans can come in handy - they taught us the "elbow".....

Fantastic coastline. It's popular among Germans because their language is very often spoken by locals in the service industries.

On the "value per sterling/$/Euro" basis , not very attractive , IMHO ;
poor service , indolence , hidden charges , no nice beaches , very limited food choices , suspect hygiene & medical....very prejudiced natives ...etc
( And many have a grudge against Brits , seeing Wien and Berlin as their natural Masters of the Universe ) ;
cheers !
