Golf Courses
Any expats living in the San Roque area who are golfers, if so could you please advice on the cost of a game of golf, as some of the greens that I am reading about are quoting prices of £40 - 50 a round, which scares the life out of me...
Retiring over here in the new year....
Is there such a thing as somthing like here (Municipal Golf Courses), as I enjoy playing on a regular basis, at those charges I will be bankrupt before I start...
Many thanks

Green fees seem really high all across the Costas. My parents are mad keen golfers and it was one of the deciding factors for them moving back to London.
Not only were green fees high but to join a club you generally have to buy a share and then pay the yearly fee too. Shares in my area were as much as €18k. :scared:
I've never seen a municipal course but then I'm only familiar with the Costa Blanca and Murcia areas.
