Default Finishing uni, a new place to live

I'm finishing uni soon in Biomedical science. I'm hoping to work in a lab. I know there are no jobs for this in commuting distance from my home town or uni city, so will need to move somewhere new. Has anyone got any suggestions?

I'm thinking about main land Europe as its close but I do like the idea of Canada or Australia.
