Re: EHIC after BREXIT
As mikelincs says everything will continue as currently until 31 December 2020 as it currently stands thanks to the existing withdrawal agreement but if in the event of ‘No Deal’ then that may well be void thanks to the EU’s principle of ‘nothing is agreed until everything is agreed’.

Re: EHIC after BREXIT
I think the logic is, why would there be a transition period if there is nothing to transition to.
The reason for agreeing the transition period was to preserve the status quo whilst negotiations continue. Obviously, until the future relationship has been finalised neither side can start putting things into place.
However if there is no deal, all negotiations stop because there's nothing to discuss.

Re: EHIC after BREXIT
My children and grandchildren are resident in another EU State. I am on kidney dialysis every second day. I need that treatment to stay alive. At the moment I can travel to another EU State and receive kidney dialysis using my EHIC, That will come to an end.It will mean that I cannot visit my family. One small tragedy in the midst of the DISASTER of Brexit.
