ILR expires after two years if you leave the UK. It also doesn't help you live anywhere else in the EU. The cost of naturalisation will only increase - I would recommend your wife naturalises as a British citizen as soon as possible.

Confirms what I was thinking, but I wasn't sure of my facts!OP -take heed, he knows what he's talking about, leave the UK and your wife will lose her ILR in 2 years.
