Default Cheap accommodation in Zurich

I am travelling to Zurich in the 11 of July with my Mum. We are looking for a cheap place to stay for 3 nights. Is there any B&B that charge no more than 100 Swiss Franc for 2 people? maybe a double room.

Thanks

Hi,

I was wondering if you could be interested for one and half room apartment for 300
CHF (3 nights) 10 minutes away by tram from the main train station in Zurich.

If you are, let me know, and I will give you further details.

usually we stay in hotel sunnehus (but most times we are 3 or 4 people and so it is
cheaper...) but maybe you should look at www.zuerich.com for hotel reservation. there
are enough hotels which are cheaper and are right in the city

Your cheapest is probably the Pension St. Josef. See www.st-josef.ch.

Someone asks for a place for less than 100, and you suggest a place for
300. Did you even bother to read the post you are replying to? Oh wait a minute. I
see you are nothing but a spammer advertizing your services. How scummy.

Hotel rates are usually quoted per diem; 100 x 3 nights = 300

Don,

She says no more than 100 CHF, St Josef is much more, you should be more careful
before posting.

No, you are wrong here. I have a current flyer from them. A doppelzimmer is CHF
110. The price at the web site is Dusche/WC. The site doesn't show the rooms with
shared bath.

I missed that as a rate for all three nights. My oversight.

I found a guest house called "Martahaus". They charge CHF 98 for a twinbed room. Does anyone know this guest house? What kind of area is it in? Is it ok to go for it? Thanks.

Martahaus is (or was, at least) run by some sort of religious foundation and seemed
rather proper and very clean some years ago. As I remember, lots of night life,
clubs, etc nearby. Decent, though. glen b.

Did you find this web site? http://www.martahaus.ch/

Last year when I was looking for an inexpensive place in Zurich I did find it on the
web. My recollection is it is affiliated with the Pension St. Josef. But when
collecting tourist information at the train station there was no mention of them.
Looking at their web site now I see they were renovating last year. I guess that is
why, or I learned on the web of its prerenovated condition. (The Pension St. Josef is
spanking clean.)

Excellent location. An easy walk from the train station. You can see a map at their
web site. Go for it.
