Brits in Poland

Hi folks, looks like it's been a while since there was a post about brits living in Poland - any others lurking here that live in Poland?

Greetings from GdaƄsk!

Dien dobry! Central/Eastern Europe can be a lonely place for us Brits. I'm in Czech Republic - Moravia on the Polish border. Only a few thousand Brits in CZ, so except for Prague we're rare as hen's teeth and it's unusual to bump into another. Good luck with your quest.

Re: Brits in Poland

I wish there was a subforum for Poland. Since my spouse is Polish with relatives there, some thought is being given to retiring in that country. In our case, that would be the central city of Lodz. I just fear not too many English-speaking expats living there, turning it into a somewhat lonely life on that level (as mentioned above). For me, Polish is a very hard language to pickup, though I have some of the basics down.
