Default Baby vaccinations

Just wondering if anyone else has had their children vaccinated in Spain: my son is one years old now and due for a new round. Is it possible to make sure you can get mercury free injections? Do they have a 'just take the shots and get it over with' approach or do they understand parents worries about side effects etc? I've been living in California so don't know what the NHS do nowadays, but if anyone has kids of a similar age and the same concerns I'd love to know.
