Question Am i Doing it the wrong way?

Hello i am trying to find out if there are specialist comps set up to transfer money back to the UK at more attractive rates than the banks provide.
Does any one have any experiances good or bad of this process and whats involved.
After 15 years on the Costa D S i am looking forward to the cold summer days and the warm winter nights infront of the radiators

Thanks BoR.

Hi there,

We used a company called HIFX, they were very efficient. They have branches in the UK and Spain. They have web sites that you can look on. Although they say they will give you a better rate than the banks, in the end, we would have got the same rate from our branch of HSBC. Good Luck.

Another option would be to set up a Paypal account and deposit money in that, transfer to your other bank and then deposit...
Depends where the money is going to/from on the rates, so it might be cheaper than the bank..also depends on the ammount of money.
Something to consider anyway.
