my husband runs his own electrical contracting company in the uk... although the stresses of work and life are getting too much and we want a change!
he is NICEIC registered and has his 2391 and city and guilds qualifications ... i saw that electricians are needed in nz and wondered what is gonna be involved in enabling him to work in nz?? any advise or help would be greatly appreciated!

Been about 11 years since i lived and worked there. So things have probably changed. But i done a provisional licence by doing a first aid course. But i think if i wanted the full licence then i had to do some other course. As i said its been a while. I got a job quite quickly when i was there in Auckland. Worked afora company called United Gooder. Also i got a job without a licence. I just had to get someone to sign off on my jobs when needed.
