Working before ARTC approved
Hi,
Does anyone know if it is possible to get sparky work in Australia while you're waiting for you're ARTC application to be processed?
I spoke to them and they said you have to be residing in Oz before you can apply.
Does this mean going over there "unqualified" and waiting around unable to work for a few months until it gets sorted?

Hi, does anyone have any contacts that my hubby could use to find work as an electrician ? He has got his L licence and has got to get a job with an electrician while he gets his A Grade Victorian licence, it's very frustrating because he's got 29 years experience in the UK but we've been here 4 weeks and he hasn't got a job yet !!
