Where to start!

Just at the very start of applying for visa as electrician in WA , jut got back from Perth and have decided to make the move!

Been reading lots of good stuff on here, but still unsure of where to start  I know I need to get my skills assessed first, but what does that involve?

Any tips greatly received

Cheers!

Hey Craigh,

You need to apply to VETASSESS to get your skills assessed. Their website is here:

http://www.vetassess.com.au/index.cfm

You can apply online there and you'll have to send certified copies of your JIB card, certificates, wage slips etc.

If everything's in order they'll give you the go ahead to book your trade test. There's a couple of detailed threads on here that cover the assessment process:

Best of luck
