Waiting for 176 visa
Hi everybody my name is Paul and i am in the process of waiting for a visa, with the new rules regarding the points system since sept 07 i was 5 points short but in time to apply for the TRA application which was granted, however as i was short on points and reading the horror stories of the IELTS testing i went for perth state sponsorship which again was granted.I am a JIB approved electrician and i have just returned from aus from a holiday with my family, while i was there i met a pommie electrician with his own contracting company who gave me a general outlook on thr licensing system in WA which he said was awkward.I have become an avid reader of Steve O and Wendy's posts regarding licensing especially the Peer course in SA.My question is ...is it possible to do the course in SA whilst on a sponsored WA visa and if i pass the correspondants course the time it takes to transfer state licensing to WA
Any help please Regards PB and family;) |

Any help please Regards PB and family;) I'm not sure how long it would take to transfer to WA, but I would imagine it wouldn't be that long - maybe a few weeks tops. |
