VTT in NSW

Hi there,

Has anyone obtained a certificate of proficiency for electrical mechanic through the Vocational Training Tribunal (VTT) in NSW?

I wanna get in the VTT route but have no any idea about their assessment process and details of the trade test, which means I would be very likely to fail it.

Could anyone give me some hints or point me to the right direction?

On a different note, just wondering if what I thought getting the NSW electrician licence via the VTT route is correct:

step 1: approach VTT and get my electrical qualifications assessed by them;
step 2: get a certificate of proficiency for electrical mechanic;
step 3: plus 12 months or more relevant work reference;
step 4: register the licence with Fair Trading.

Thanks folks!
