How in depth do they go with regard to resistors ???, Iam reading up and need to know how in depth it is or do they just skirt around it ??.

You need to know your formulas for resistors in series and parallel and that's about it for that. It is a multiple choice paper of 18 questions so it's nothing too technical.
There is a second part to the paper which you do whilst doing the actual practical to write things down as you go.
