Vetasses???
Hi, I've read so much about the process for sparks gaining electrical licence in oz I'm just confused!!!
My husband is a spark, I am a nurse, going to apply for a 189 and I will be the main applicant. Does my husband still have to have a skills assessment prior to arriving in oz or can he start the process there? Looking for the quickest and most economical way for him to get into work unsupervised! Also, I'm assuming the vetasses is the skills assessment? And from what i have read this is a series of exams over one day sat in the uk? Also how much does this cost? Thanks for your replies Roberta |
Re: Vetasses???
No you dont need to do 2 assessments, just do the one, and Nurse would be the one to go for. I take it you have 5 years employment history working as a Nurse? He can be assessed once living there, and it will work out cheaper, otherwise you go through vetassess, pay $2100 and then do it all over again for a year once you arrive.

With the electricians side though, do you know what state you are likely to head for? |
