Default Uk spark in Cairns, QLD...story so far

Hi all,

Got my Permit to work from QLD govt.

Spoke to TAFE here and showed them my cert III in electrotechnology that I gained from the expensive day out with Vetassess.

They put me on a Course in Electrical Installation, Inspection and Testing - 39093QLD (2 nights a week for 6 weeks) which apparently then gets me my full license. The course doesnt start till July 7th, so I feel a bit of a lemon applying for electrical jobs when I dont have a license but I'm quoting "I'll have it in August though, honest!!"

Any similar scenarios out there in QLD?
