Uk electrician looking to stay in aus
Hey guys!!!!!
I am a fully qualified sparky am travelling aus at the mo, am in melbourne in st kilda currently, when i arrived i phoned all the electrical contractors in my region however no one was willing to take me on because i did not have an aussie licence which is fair enough. However i find this very disheartening I love the country and what it has to offer i'm 23 and want to make a go of things here, I bought all my trade certificates from back home with me, am going to see a imigration consultant in the next few weeks. I just don't understand when back home there were adverts in the paper about aus needing skilled workers then when i get here its impossible to get any1 to take me on even as a labourer!!!!!! if any1 has any advice as to what i should be doing to make sure i stay i would be very grateful
james
