Default Uk Electrician holiday working visa ATRC?

Hi,

I am looking to go out and work in Perth on a holiday working visa hopefully to be sponsored, but i am unsure on which route to take (ATRC or Vetassess).

After doing some research on the ATRC it says you need 7 years experience, which i fall just short of having about 5 and a half years. I didn't complete an Apprenticeship also. Do they check up on this? as i could get a reference from my current employer saying i have 7 years. I can can give them photos and write ups of me installing, testing etc from when i completed my NVQ level 3 as well. Would there be any point in applying for a ATRC as it would be rejected and a waste of money?

If this route is a no go, is there an alternative?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks
