Thumbs up to EWRB in NZ
Just wanted to give a big thumbs up to EWRB (Electrician's Workers Registration Board) who assess the work and qualifications in the UK with a view to issuing a licence to work in New Zealand.
Their website quotes 6-10 weeks to process, I sent the documents in a folder all organised and easy to go through, posted to NZ priority registered mail, chased EWRB via email one week later to check they had received it and was told it had just arrived and turn-around would be about 6 weeks. 3 days later we received an email to say provisional licence had been granted due to OH background and experience.
We were expecting to wait at least 6 weeks, 3 days - can't be bad.
Now all we need is to hear back from NZIS that our ITA is on its way and we will be very happy.
