Default Are there really any jobs??

Hi All

Looking for a bit more information again!! We are looking to migrate to Perth, struggling to see any jobs advertised for there. Are we better to look at settling elsewhere??
My husband isn't applying for jobs before we get there but we are just trying to get a feel for where we will be better placed.

Thanks again

I've been looking at current vacancies and quite a few are asking for previous mine experience.

The question is how do you get a job to get mine experience without having mine experience to start with.

Any advise from anyone who managed this would be helpful.
Thanks
Paul

It can be a bit like who you know rather than what you know. I would say. Get a job nearer home first ie Perth and once you start to meet people and get experience as an Oz sparky. More opportunities should come your way.
