Ive just printed off the application from for ARTC, and i see it requests statements from employers, will i be able to use the same ones as i used for my PR Visa or do i need them to be done all over again? If so do you think it would be ok to get them pre-dated before leaving the UK?

I used the same statements for my PR, TRA & ARTC. Brought them with me and had them certified at our local police station (they don't charge to certify them over here). Then waited five weeks for it to arrive. As Wendy always says, overstate the words disconnect & reconnect when going for your mechanics licence as it's what they want to hear. check out this thread.
