Mine was a Tubular heater in a canteen that had given someone a shock. I had to safely isolate, remove, test, then replace it. I had to write the minimum allowed insulation resistance for the appliance and also test continuity of the element.

Re: practical exam theory
Because the different companies doing skills assessments are all RTO's for TRA there should be very little difference between the tests conducted so have a look at what info is available about testing generally. Also, Vetassess have guides online and in particular, they outline the safe disconnect / reconnect process.

Hi everyone
I have quick question about Diconnection / Reconnection pocedure .
" test voltage tester at known `LIVE’/PROVEN source for correct operation before use. "
How do you do it on exam ? is there provided a proving unit ?

Unfortunately I don't know any sparky . I'm in Brisbane since 6 months on Skilled graduate visa 476 it has left only 12 months of my visa so I'm trying to get PR . I'm looking now for job as an Electrical Trade Assistant and then hopefully I will meet some people in profession.
PS. I've read every single topic in this thread , very helpful !!
