Default Modern Apprenticeship Certificate & Trade Recognition

I am a fully qualified Electrician from the UK currently sorting out the application for my Trade Recognition Cert. I have been informed that theres a high chance it will get rejected because my Modern Apprenticeship certificate says Engineering, though i have all my trade certs from NVQ3, city and guilds 236 parts 1&2, city and guilds 2391-10 testing and inspecting, city and guilds 2391-20 design and verification. I am now in a dilemma of whether to apply for pathway1 or pathway2. Any1 else been in this situation or had theirs rejected due to this reason?

Any advice would be great thanks.
