IPAF or not !

Question IPAF or not !
Can anyone tell me if the IPAF(scissor lifts and cherry pickers) ticket is needed or recognized in oz i dont know weather to renew mine or not.

My employer just phoned IPAF offices in Sydney yesterday to check if my UK cherry picker ticket was valid here, told I would have to sit Oz course.
