Gap Training Help

Hi everyone,

My OH has to do his electrical gap training at Tafe in a few weeks time and its going to cost over $4k, last year we were told there is gap training funding where by you get some assistance with part of the course bill..... Can someone who's had this help be able to point us in the right direction on who we have to contact regarding it. Knowing our luck they've probably scraped it but need to find out for sure before he starts his course. We live in Queensland and came on the 175 visa, Vetassess.

Sorry, I completed Gap Training in NSW Jan-July 2012 and haven't heard about the funding?

I got funding from Skills For All / Skilled Migrant Services in SA last year - Think it's state dependant.

4k is what I have just been quoted for my gap training with QET, did you have any luck getting it cheaper? And did you manage to get any funding at all?
